GENERAL RULES OF THE GAME

1. The basic equipment is two shovels or rackets, a smooth table with net that divides the table in half and ping pong balls.

2. The upper surface of the ping pong table shall be rectangular with a length of 2'74m and a width of 1’525m, and shall be located 76 cm from the floor.

3. The ball must be spherical, with a diameter of 40mm and a weight of 2’7g. White or orange but always matt.

4. A play is the period during which the ball is in play.

5. Somewhat is a play whose result is recorded, an annulment is a play whose result is not recorded.


6. The first player to serve (service) is determined randomly. Each player or pair will serve twice by passing the serve to the opposing player or partner.
